Home Spy Video Review

Home Spy Video promises us exclusive homemade material and it's true that the archive of 12,235 movies does indeed come off as homemade or at least sex appears to be caught on hidden cams. However, the content, which is composed of short clips and longer lasting sex scenes, isn't likely exclusive to this site. All the same, there is a lot of content to be had from this membership for those who can't get enough of amateur porn.

When you login, you will need to pass through a page of upsells before you access the members' area. Even once you land on the homepage, you'll be hit with upsells. It's all rather irritating, but not unbearable to deal with. Judging by the thumbnails, the videos on this site look a step up from the homemade content I'm used to seeing, but once you begin to dive into the content, it's obvious that the stuff is definitely home shot. Navigation is okay, but it could be better.

In addition to movies, there are 2079 sets of photos. The number of pictures in a set varies a lot. Some sets might only have a few shots and others might have over 50 pictures. However, the images aren't a big priority to the community of members, or so it seems. The newest set of photos was uploaded in March 2013, but it had been a couple of years between this and the last upload. The newest set offers 1292x897 photos, but the resolution can vary. Also, while some images do seem to be shot with a digital camera, there are others that seem to be shot through a webcam or at least a cell phone.

Videos are the main priority on Home Spy Video and there are at least one or more of them uploaded on a nearly daily basis. I did come across a couple of days with no uploads, but the days with multiple movies added makes up for the break. The movies can be streamed in an embedded Flash player and it looks like AVI is the only downloadable format offered. However, when I download the newest film it turns out to be a seriously low quality 3GP (132kbps, 176x144). There are AVI (352kbps, 320x240) downloads, though.

Fortunately, there aren't download limits and it takes a mere second to save a flick to your computer. How good the actual image is depends on how it was shot. There are movies that have been shot with a video camera, there are those shot with spycams and perhaps even webcams. All in all, the stuff comes off as truly amateur, though. Also, there are still shots capturing the couple in action and there are POV and handheld scenes. Action is mostly straight, but there is a long list of categories that include a bit of fetish and some group sex scenes.

Final Verdict

Home Spy Video is a massive archive of mostly homemade amateur videos stretching back to at least 2007. Even today, you can expect one or more updates almost daily, which is pretty awesome for those looking for tons and tons of porn. The quality isn't fantastic and this is a big drawback, also there is only the AVI download format. The site would do well to add some MP4 options, in my opinion. I'm not sure the regular admission price is worth the quality presented on Home Spy Video, but you honestly couldn't ask for a larger selection of voyeur action.
